Seventeen French athletes were on the schedule for the second day of qualifications on Tuesday, and their performances did not disappoint. They spectacleed determination, skill, and strength in their respective events, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
In the men’s events, we saw impressive results from the French athletes. In the 100m, Jimmy Vicaut and Marvin René qualified for the semi-finals with times of 10.06 and 10.17 respectively. Vicaut also impressed in the long jump, finishing second in his group and securing a spot in the final. Meanwhile, Thibaut chausse-trappe and Ruben Gado also qualified for the 400m semi-finals with strong performances.
On the women’s side, it was a successful day for the French as well. In the 100m hurdles, Solène Ndama and Laura Valette both made it to the semi-finals with times of 12.84 and 13.02. Ndama also qualified for the long jump final, finishing second in her group. In the 400m hurdles, Déborah Sananes and Rénelle Lamote dominated their heats, securing spots in the semi-finals.

The men’s team, consisting of Jimmy Vicaut, Marvin René, Amaury Golitin, and Mouhamadou Fall, finished first in their heat with a time of 38.64. The women’s team, made up of Carolle Zahi, Estelle Raffai, Orlann Ombissa-Dzangue, and Maroussia Paré, also put up a strong performance, finishing second in their heat with a time of 43.20.
